M8083 (=EF91,CV138) Mullard England - nos tube
Special quality EF91. It can be used from AF to VHF up to about 200 MHz. It can be used like a microphone input tube as well as a line input stage. A typical EF86 circuit can be used. The M8083 has a greater voltage gain than the EF86. It can also be used like a cathode follower, so it can drive quite difficult loads. Va max.= 300V, Vg2 max.= 300V, Ik max.= 15mA, Pa= 2.5W, Vkf max.= 150V, S= 7.65 mA/V, Ri= 1M. 10 000 hours type. Matched quartets should be no problem. Blue glass envelope. Professional valve. These were made by Mullard, Mitcham.
