The M8083 is a special quality version of the EF91, a high-gain RF pentode designed for use in radio frequency and intermediate frequency amplification stages. Manufactured by Mullard, the M8083 was intended for applications requiring long life and rugged performance, including military and professional communications equipment. It features a 7-pin miniature base and was widely used in post-war British electronics. Its stable operation and reliable characteristics make it suitable for both vintage restorations and demanding RF circuits.
