UralTone Phase 90 kit
UralTone Phase 90 is a version of the MXR Phase 90 effect with minor changes. These, e.g. modulation depth control and switch on/off for feedback. The original circit was introduced in 1974. This "Script logo" version did not use feedback. The phaser effect on this is a little milder. In the cicrcuit introduced later, the phaser effect was emphasized with a feedback resistor. This boosts the midrange and makes the Phaser effect more pronounced. In the UralTone Phase 90 effect, you can choose to turn feedback on or off.
Unlike usual effect kit of Uraltone, Phase 90 is built in an undrilled 1590BB case. Drilling is easy with the drilling jig supplied as an optional extra part of the construction kit. With a taper drill and a jig, it takes surprisingly little time to prepare the case. In addition to tools for soldering, the builder must have a cordless drill.
The kit is delivered without a case. In the catalogof the UralTone online store, there are pre-painted and untreated 1590BB cases from which the builder can choose the one of preferred looks.
The jig and stepped drill needed for construction are also sold separately. These make assembly easier and will be usable again when more kits that can be built into the 1590BB case are released.
A separately sold front panel is also available for the Phase 90.
